Wednesday Pastoral Study at 10am via Zoom

November 4, 2020 10:00am

In November we will begin a new book: Why We Can’t Wait by Martin Luther King, Jr. Written after the Civil Rights protests in Birmingham, AL in 1963, this book includes King’s Letter From a Birmingham Jail. At a time when violent protests were becoming more common, King used this book to call for peaceful, nonviolent action to bring about change in society. In this book, King discusses how his study of Jesus and the early church led him to pursue such change.

Limited copies of the book are available at the church office for $9.

If you would like to participate, email Pastor Max at:

  • November 4: King’s Background
  • November 11: Chapters 1&2
  • November 18: Chapters 3&4
