There's A lot to Do At St. James

We all know that it is extremely important that we stay active. Not just physically, but mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. In order for us as believers to carry the message of God's grace and His love, we first have to take care of the messenger.

So we've partnered with many organizations to equip our community with the essential activities to stay in shape in all areas of our lives.

Here are some of our activities to get involved in:

 Sewing Basics Mini Course

A fun introduction to sewing terms and procedures using “mini” sized American Girl Doll patterns

You will make apparel and accessories in smaller sizes so that the emphasis is on learning in an equally condensed amount of time. This class will focus on how to cut out and sew retail patterns as well as cutting out projects using dimensions as you would for home decorating projects. Don’t worry if you don’t have your own pint-sized American Girl, theses projects will make great gifts. I will provide dolls for fittings as well as all the materials and patterns. If you have your own sewing machine you are welcome to bring it to class if you know how to thread it and have a basic knowledge of your machine. I will provide sewing machines that we will share. The class is limited to 6 participants.

Cost: $80
