CHILDREN ARE A BLESSING!
Nurturing and growing God’s children through engaging learning and support is our priority. We are fortunate to have an extremely active and talented group of volunteers, from Sunday School teachers to small group leaders. The Children’s Ministry Team is dedicated to providing opportunities for our children to experience Christian education and fellowship.

SUNDAYS
During the Sunday School hour, children can participate in a rotation of (1) traditional Sunday School classes, (2) “Bible Challenge” where they memorize Bible verses, hymns and liturgy, and (3) “Energize,” an hour of fun crafts and games in the Fellowship Hall. In the summertime and during special holidays, Sunday School schedules may change.
During the 11:00 Service:
Children ages 4 – 2nd grade are invited to the altar for “Children’s Moments,” an age-appropriate lesson. They can return to sit with their parents or leave with a leader and enjoy creating in the “Worship & Wonder Room.”
Nursery is provided during the Sunday School hour and during the 11:00 am church service for ages 3 and under.

- Themed Skate Parties in the gym
- Trunk or Treat in October
- Breakfast with Santa (with firemen and police, plus a marketplace for kids to shop for their parents)
- Countdown to Christmas
- Children’s Christmas Musical
- Children’s Christmas Eve Service
- Palm Sunday Continental Breakfast and the March of Palms
- Easter Egg Hunt and Continental Breakfast
- “Let’s Fiesta” with piñatas at Wednesday Night Dinner
- Children’s Service (5th graders lead us in worship and provide the music)
- Consignment Sale, twice yearly
SUMMER PROGRAMS
- Vacation Bible School
- Summer Camps (enrichment, sports, arts & crafts)
- God’s Wonderful World Camp with Ms. June
- Lock-In (3rd – 5th graders receive their own Bibles and spend the night learning how to use it!)
- Blessing of the Backpacks & Heavenly Splash!
