Rainbows is a weekly support group for children who have experienced a significant loss or change in their lives such as death, divorce, or remarriage. While Rainbows is neither counseling nor therapy, it is a peer support group led by trained facilitators.
Rainbows guides children through the myriad of feelings and emotions, helps them work through their grief and focus on developing constructive coping skills.
Rainbows helps participants...
* Express feelings
* Understand feelings
* Let hurtful feelings go
* Get on with living
Trained Facilitators...
