Join us on September 20 at 9:45 in the Fellowship Hall for the first installation of a three-part series this Fall presented by The Candler Foundry called “Prophetic Ministry and Imagination.” This course will take a close look at the biblical narratives and teachings of Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Jesus. We will learn how Jesus and these prophets can help us understand how God has acted in history, and how God is acting now.
Our first session will be taught by the Candler Foundry’s Director, Ryan Bonfiglio! Join us for this part of what should be an insightful series!
Our “Prophetic Ministry and Imagination” combined Sunday School series continues on October 25th and November 15th and will be led by Dr. Eric McDonnell, a Hebrew Bible Scholar and an Adjunct Old Testament Professor at Emory University.
We will continue learning about the “prophetic imagination” and the reflections of righteousness and justice we gain from Old Testament prophets and Jesus!
