Great news! St. James UMC is officially a Lighthouse Congregation. Just as a lighthouse provides a sense of direction, safety and hope, St. James will do the same for our community. Lighthouse Congregations are United Methodist congregations devoted to extending Christian hospitality to people who have been displaced from their church homes by disruption, disaffiliation or closure. As a congregation, we will share the unifying mission of welcoming, caring for and discipling the many visitors to our church whether they stay for a season or make St. James their new home.
