Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. upstairs in Educational Bldg.
We offer Adult Sunday school classes for all ages and stages.
The Wesley Class is a group of older, fun, interesting adults who enjoy a wide variety of lessons each week … usually led by members of the class. We have lively discussions and welcome all points of view!
Members of The Fellowship Class are in the 55+ age group. We have a wonderful teacher who follows curriculum provided by the UMC … but are known to veer off into discussions of our own!
The Joy Class is a welcoming and lively group who enjoy a wide variety of lessons each week with plenty of spirited discussion. We have members of all ages – from 30 to over 80 – but most are somewhere in between. We meet at 9:45-ish on Sunday mornings, upstairs in the Educational Building, in Room 305. Just show up, enjoy a cup of coffee and a sweet roll, and give us the opportunity to greet you! If you would like to be added to our weekly email list, please contact Kitty Turner at kturner@stjamesatlanta.org.
Parenting in Prayer Class is a group for parents in the midst of raising their families who want to connect for Fellowship and periodic speakers on relevant parenting and faith-related topics!. This class meets on Sunday mornings at around 9:45 AM in Room 306.
All are welcome to join! For more information, contact Meghan Rachford or Katie Wilson.
We are continuing our study of the book “Liturgy of the Ordinary: Sacred Practices in Everyday Life”. We have copies of the book to hand out in class if needed. We plan on reviewing the book on the following dates: May 3, and May 17. We do plan on meeting for “open fellowship” on the days we do not meet to speak about the book.
