Join us on October 25 at 9:45 in the Fellowship Hall for the second installation of a three-part series this Fall presented by The Candler Foundry called “Prophetic Ministry and Imagination.” This course will take a close look at the biblical narratives and teachings of Moses, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Jesus. We will learn how Jesus and these prophets can help us understand how God has acted in history, and how God is acting now.
Our “Prophetic Ministry and Imagination” combined Sunday School series continues through November 15th and will be led by Dr. Eric McDonnell, a Hebrew Bible Scholar and an Adjunct Old Testament Professor at Emory University.
We will continue learning about the “prophetic imagination” and the reflections of righteousness and justice we gain from Old Testament prophets and Jesus!
