We’d love for you to join us on Wednesday, February 25 at 9am as we set out to explore Sope Creek, part of the beautiful Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area.
We’ll meet at the paved trailhead parking lot at 3726 Paper Mill Road SE, Marietta, just off Johnson Ferry Road. From there, we’ll enjoy a relaxed 3-mile dirt trail—mostly flat with a few gentle hills—perfect for taking in the scenery and good company.
Along the way, we’ll soak up some local history, wander among the fascinating Civil War–era paper mill ruins, and enjoy a peaceful stretch of river views. Don’t forget to bring your National Park pass, your curiosity, and your walking shoes.
