I have been at St. James Preschool since 2003. First as a Teacher and then in 2015 as Director. I went to Auburn University and graduated in the School of Education with a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education in Social Sciences. I then taught High School in Cobb County upon graduation. My love for the study of law brought me to Legal Assistant School and then working as a Legal Assistant for 12 years. However, my passion for teaching never really left and when an opening became available at St. James Preschool, I took it.
My philosophy is that children should love school and be curious to learn. It is a teacher’s job to foster that love, to help them learn to communicate, respect others, analyze situations, and solve problems. When children leave our program, they will be on the path to developing a curiosity in life and self-confidence as learners.
